Every person wishing to address the Neighborhood Council must dial  (669) 900-6833, and enter 9407 0423 814 and then press # to join the webinar. Instructions on how to sign up for public comment will be given to listeners at the start of the meeting.
PUBLIC INPUT AT NEIGHBORHOOD COUNCIL MEETINGS – The public is requested to dial *9, when prompted by the presiding officer, to address the Board on any agenda item before the Board takes an action on an item. Comments from the public on agenda items will be heard only when the respective item is being considered. Comments from the public on other matters not appearing on the agenda that are within the Board?s jurisdiction will be heard during the General Public Comment period.   Please note that under the Brown Act, the Board is prevented from acting on a matter that you bring to its attention during the General Public Comment period; however, the issue raised by a member of the public may become the subject of a future Board meeting. Public comment is limited to 2 minutes per speaker, unless adjusted by the presiding officer of the Board.

Goeff Thompson LAWA liason from Councilmember Mike Bonins office will give an overview of LAWA’S proposed ATMP project.

The Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) Airfield and Terminal Modernization Project will focus on airfield, terminal and landside improvements while staying within the airport’s existing footprint. The Project would elevate the passenger experience, improve the community experience, enhance safety and increase business opportunities.

The Notice of Preparation (NOP) and Initial Study for the Housing Element Environmental Impact Report (EIR) are now available online [2]. These documents are being prepared by Los Angeles City Planning as part of the Plan to House LA [3].
The review and response period for the NOP is from January 13, 2021 through February 15, 2021. Pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15082(b), written responses to this NOP must be provided during this response period. Additional information regarding the proposed project, and how to provide comments, is provided in the NOP.
Additionally, the NOP provides notice of two upcoming Public Scoping Meetings for the project. The date, time, and virtual location of the Public Scoping Meetings are as follows. Please refer to the NOP for additional information regarding the meetings and how you can participate.

7346 Rindge Ave., Playa del Rey: DIR-2019-1463-CDP-MEL/ENV-2019-1464-CE

Applicant is requesting approval for the demolition of an exisiting one story 1,214 sq. ft. single family dwelling and the contruction of a new two story 6,028 sq. ft. single family dwelling with a roof top deck, ground level basement, maximum height of 45ft.  and attached two car garage and 890 yards of cubic grading in the California Coastal Zone, a CEQA exemption and a Mello Act review.  Two parking spaces are provided on site.

Background: 4th presentation to PLUC. Possibility that the project has been reduced to 4,308 sq. ft.

Loyola Marymount University (LMU) is requesting an amendment to their Master Plan ( Los Angeles City Ordinance 181605) that would allow for relocation of their already approved square footage among three use categories on campus: Acadmenic/Administrative, Residential and Athletic indoors. This would allow LMU to keep Gersten Pavillon in use for trianing, practices, recovery stations, coaches offices adn other ancillary athletic uses after construction of the university’s new venue. The revised amendment reduces the amount of approved square footage LMU could transfer from one category to another.
