Neighbors in Westchester are celebrating U.S. history by displaying signs on their front lawns highlighting the contributions of Black leaders in American history.
The “Great American Sign Tour” features Katherine Johnson, Jackie Robinson, Maya Angelou, Ella Fitzgerald, Biddy Mason, and other incredible leaders with engaging lawn signs containing photos and information about the accomplishments and progress made by incredible leaders throughout our history.
Thanks to neighbor Alyssa Bost, as well as Sylvia Wilson and Heather Tuttle of the Neighborhood Council of Westchester/Playa for spearheading this great project.
