WEEKDAY, SATURDAY LANE CLOSURES SCHEDULED ON PERSHING DRIVE FOR RECEIVING STATION-X PROJECT
To facilitate installation of sanitary sewer and storm drain lines for the Receiving Station-X (RS-X) project, portions of Pershing Drive at and south of the intersection with Westchester Parkway will be restricted Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. until the end of April.
When certain lanes are restricted, traffic will be maintained via lane shifts, motorists and
cyclists sharing use of the bike lane, and/or detours as needed. In some circumstances, left turns from southbound Pershing Drive to eastbound Westchester Parkway will be unavailable.
Signage will be posted to advise motorists to slow down and share the road with bicycles.
