- Approval of Minutes of Special Meeting, June 16, 2026.
- Motion to appoint Theresa Torrance, Treasurer, and Paula Gerez, President, as Neighborhood Council bank card holders, as set forth in the FY 2026–2027 Administrative Packet.
- Motion to appoint Paula Gerez, President, as Second Signer, as set forth in the FY 2026–2027 Administrative Packet.
- Motion to appoint Steve Donell, Vice President, as Alternate Signer, as set forth in the FY 2026–2027 Administrative Packet.
- Motion to approve a resolution of the Neighborhood Council of Westchester/Playa supporting preservation of the historic 1929 Olvera Street cross and the traditional Christmas Nativity display at El Pueblo de Los Ángeles Historical Monument; expressing support for the City of Los Angeles and the Olvera Street Merchants Association Foundation in Gerritsen v. City of Los Angeles (Ninth Circuit); and authorizing the President to transmit the resolution to the Mayor, City Attorney, City Council, Council District 11, and the Department of Recreation and Parks / El Pueblo.
- Motion to approve a letter to CD 11 and the Los Angeles Department of City Planning requesting that any new ingress/egress on the east side of Vista del Mar, from Culver Boulevard to Vista del Mar Lane and Waterview Street, be prohibited and that this prohibition be incorporated into the Community Plan Update.
- Motion to approve the 2027 Neighborhood Council Election Information Worksheet for submission to the Office of the City Clerk, requesting that the NCWP at-poll election be held on Sunday, June 6, 2027, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Westchester Municipal Building, 7166 Manchester Avenue, Westchester, CA 90045, with the Westchester–Loyola Village Branch Library as the alternate site; and authorizing the President to complete and submit the worksheet and any related Clerk forms consistent with this action.

- Motion to Receive, approve and file the Treasurer’s Report and MER for June 2026.
- Motion to approve the initial budget for the NCWP Fiscal Year 2026–2027 Administrative Packet, including the recurring and non-recurring Office/Operational Expenditures listed in the packet. Approval of this packet and category authorizes those expenditures for the entire fiscal year. All recurring operational expenditures will be approved in a separate BAC covering the entire fiscal year.
- Motion to preemptively approve allocating $2,000 in Fiscal Year 2025–2026 rollover funds to the NPG fund for Fiscal Year 2026–2027, and to include those funds in the FY 2026–2027 Administrative Packet, contingent upon approval by the City Clerk and City Council.
- Motion to approve monthly recurring outreach support from Moore Business Results for Fiscal Year 2026–2027, with expenditures not to exceed $650 per month. Services include, but are not limited to, distribution of the NCWP Board agenda and Committee agendas, newsletters, community updates, website maintenance, and other NCWP communications.
- Motion to approve monthly recurring Mailchimp email service for Fiscal Year 2026–2027 for distribution of the NCWP Board agenda, committee agendas, community updates, and other NCWP communications, with expenditures not to exceed $65 per month.
- Motion to approve the monthly recurring NCWP newsletter provided by Hometown News for Fiscal Year 2026–2027, with expenditures not to exceed $875 per month.
- Motion to approve $100 for the Department of Neighborhood Empowerment to renew the Westchester/Playa Neighborhood Council Canva license for Fiscal Year 2026–2027.
- Motion to approve NCWP sponsorship of the annual Westchester Arts and Music block party (WAM) on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., on Emerson Avenue in Westchester, for an amount not to exceed $800.
- Motion to approve an NPG request from SOFESA to help fund emergency outreach providing immediate shelter and essential living items for homeless single women and families in the local area. Funds will be used for temporary shelter and supplies (including food, gas, and clothing), in an amount not to exceed $1,500.
- Motion to approve the NPG request from Friends of the Jungle for their 50th annual beach/community clean-up, to take place on Saturday, September 19, 2026, on Trolleyway Street in Playa del Rey, in an amount not to exceed $2,000.00 to cover a portion of the cost of a porta-potty, food and t-shirts.
