SB79 has been sent to the Governor for his veto or signature. Now is the time for you to weigh in with the Governor.
SB79 would override local zoning and allow 6-9 story buildings next to single family homes depending upon the proximity to transit hubs. It does not increase affordable housing and it would negatively impact historic buildings.
Contact the Governor now:
- On his website contact page, topic dropdown, choose Active Bill
- Scroll down and select SB79 for the bill
- Choose Leave a Comment, tap Next
- Indicate your position in the message subject
- State your position and reasoning in the body
- Get your friends to do the same
