The City of Los Angeles Smartphone app lets users submit 311 service requests, such as to fix potholes and remove graffiti.
The new app, called MyLA311, is available for the iPhone and smartphones running on the Android operating system. Besides being used to submit service requests, the app can also be used to pay water and power bills in a tab titled “Pay My LADWP Bill.”
The app’s “Find City Info” can be used to quickly locate city parks and swimming pools as well as libraries. The app’s “City Hall News” section can be used to stay up to date on the city of Los Angeles’ latest programs.
The new app, developed by downtown Los Angeles-based 3Di Systems, follows the city’s recent efforts to revamp its website in early February. The app functions similarly to the new website.
The app can be downloaded from the Apple App Store for iPhone users and from Google Play for Android users.
