Approval of minutes of the February 6, 2025 meeting.
2.
Reports, announcements from City, County and Government officials.
3.
Unlike other Communities in the City of Los Angeles’ Coastal Zone, Playa del Rey does not have a Local Coastal Plan. Since 1981 Playa del Rey has relied upon the Del Rey Lagoon Specific Plan to guide its development in the Coastal Zone. The Plan has been cited by the City of Los Angeles and the California Coastal Commission as their guiding instrument in case determinations.
Until such time as the City of Los Angeles certifies a Local Coastal Plan for Playa del Rey the Del Rey Lagoon Specific Plan should be incorporated into the Community Plan Update.

Action: Motion to recommend that the Board approve that the Del Rey Lagoon Specific Plan be incorporated into the Community Plan Update.
4.
Over the last several years the CPU Committee and the Stakeholders have been requesting that the City provide us with the number of new housing units required for our area. The City has been unable to provide that.
It is beyond challenging to go through the Community Plan Update process not having any guidance whatsoever from the City as to the number of units they expect for our area.
