The project contractor will implement temporary traffic lane closures between 9 am – 7 pm on
Tuesday, August 31, 2021 through Saturday, September 18, 2021at Vista del Mar and Waterview Street
to ensure safe and efficient construction activity.
Please note the following:
Southbound lanes will be closed 9 am – 3:30 pm
One lane of traffic (current northbound lane) will remain open
Open traffic lane will alternate between northbound and southbound traffic, with a flag person directing traffic
A minimum of two traffic lanes, one northbound and one southbound, to be open at all other times

Project description:
LA Sanitation and Environment is constructing a new 54-inch diameter pressurized sewer line from Venice to the Hyperion Water Reclamation Plant in Playa del Rey to replace the existing 50-year-old sewer line. Construction activities include micro tunneling between sewer access points (shafts) to create a tunnel for installation of sewer pipeline segments.
