Please note that under the Brown Act, the Board is prevented from acting on a matter that you bring to its attention during the General Public Comment period; however, the issue raised by a member of the public may become the subject of a future Board meeting. Public comment is limited to 1 minute per speaker, unless adjusted by the presiding officer of the Board.

  4. Consent Calendar: (The following items will be treated as one item and enacted with one vote unless a Board member or a stakeholder requests that an item be placed on the Discussion Calendar.)
    1. Approval of Minutes of previous Board meeting
    2. Motion to approve the attached letter from the Neighborhood Council of Westchester/Playa to the Department of Recreation and Parks (General Manager Jimmy Kim and the Board of Recreation and Park Commissioners), with copies to Councilmember Traci Park and LAPD Pacific Division, requesting enhanced security, regular cleanups, nightly locking of bathrooms and parking lot gates, and related enforcement at Westchester Park; and authorizing the President to finalize and transmit the letter on behalf of the Board; and further authorizing the President to speak and act on behalf of the NCWP regarding this matter as the President deems appropriate.
    3. Motion to approve and ratify the appointment of all current NCWP committee chairs and committee members.
