As part of the State, County, and applicable City orders specific to the COVID-19 response, Metro work activities are currently included as “Essential” activities. Therefore, work activities are continuing as permitted by the local jurisdiction.
Metro will perform track maintenance and system improvements to connect the Crenshaw/LAX Transit Project to a section of Metro C Line (Green) beginning at 8:00 pm, Friday, August 7, 2020 until the end of service, Saturday, August 8, 2020.
This work will require interruption of rail service between Crenshaw Station and Redondo Beach Station. Train service will continue to run from Norwalk Station through Crenshaw Station. Due to this work, free bus shuttles will take passengers between the following seven stations:
• Crenshaw
• Hawthorne/Lennox
• Aviation/LAX
• Mariposa
• El Segundo
• Douglas
• Redondo Beach
