PUBLIC COMMENT
LAWA released the Draft EA and Draft GCD documents for public review. They will be available for public comment until 5:00 p.m. on July 12, 2021. LAWA invites you to make your voice heard by making oral comments at the public hearing described above, or by submitting written comments on both documents in either of the following ways: (1) using the comment button on www.lawa.org/ATMP, or (2) mailing to the following address:

Interactive Virtual Open House
LAWA is pleased to host an interactive open house for the Draft EA, which can be visited online at your convenience. The interactive open house will include stations with more detailed information about the Proposed Project and the analysis and conclusions in the Draft EA and Draft GCD. Virtual Public Meeting and Hearing

Register for the virtual public meeting and hearing on LAWA’s website after May 27, 2021 at www.lawa.org/ATMP.
No answers to questions or decisions on the Proposed Project will be made during the virtual public meeting or public hearing. You must register to join. The virtual presentation will be 30 minutes and the public hearing will begin at the conclusion of the virtual presentation. Individuals who wish to provide oral testimony can register in advance. Each speaker will be limited to 3 minutes in order to provide everyone an opportunity to speak. The oral comments will become part of the document record; responses will be provided in the Final EA.
Non CEQA Transportation Assessment
As you are aware, the Non-CEQA Transportation Assessment that was conducted pursuant to the Los Angeles Department of Transportation’s (LADOT) Transportation Assessment Guidelines, as a transportation analysis separate from the CEQA evaluation for the Airfield and Terminal Modernization Project (ATMP) Environmental Impact Report (EIR) has been completed. This transportation analysis is referred to as a “Non-CEQA Transportation Assessment” and can be found at the links below. LAWA worked closely with LADOT on this report and recommendations. Also provided below is the letter from LADOT to LAWA that presents their evaluation of, and recommendations for, this Non-CEQA Transportation Assessment.
Although this Non-CEQA Transportation Assessment does not require a public review and comment period like the ATMP EIR, if members of the public would like to provide comments, they can submit them to LAWA no later than end of day June 8, 2021.
