COUNCIL DISTRICT 11 “CANDIDATE FORUM”
Moderator (John Logsdon) introduces the NCWPDR, lists all candidates that are attending tonights meeting and sets ground rules for the forum (Erin Darling, Gregg Good, Allison Holdorff Polhill, Soni Lloyd, Jim Murez, Mike Newhouse, Traci Park, Mat Smith).

(2) Question #1 (:90 seconds): HOMELESS: What is your plan to combat homelessness in CD11 (or the city) and how is it different from other plans that have been tried in the past few years?
(3) Question #2 (:60 seconds): HOMELESS: Do you think it should be illegal to camp near schools in parks or beaches if alternative housing has been offered? How would you handle the overnight parking of vehicle dwellers now that the parking moratorium has been lifted (storage/towing)?
(4) Question #3 (:60 seconds): HOMELESS: How would you handle mental health support or substance support with homeless or the public at large.
(5) Question #4 (2 minutes): PUBLIC SAFETY: Once elected, how would you reduce crime in CD11?

(9) Question #8 (1 minute): ENVIRONMENT: What are your thoughts on the environment regarding the local watershed, Ballona Creek, preservation of the wetlands and the Santa Monica Bay?
(10) Question #9 (1 minute): ENVIRONMENT: What is your stance on LAX…pollution from air traffic? Expansion into Westchester? FAA Restrictions on land uses, including the LAX Northside.
