The above diagram of the 1.7 mile stretch Vista del Mar just west of LAX, shows a new U turn at Vista Del Mar and Waterview Street. Retaining two lanes in each direction, new speed tables, new K rail median barriers with fencing between Waterview Street and Imperial Highway, restoring parking on the West side of the street and new speed cameras.
Because of the long and deadly history on Vista del Mar, CD11 is implementing a suite of safety improvements – including automated speed enforcement and median barriers – between Waterview and Imperial. This is just one of several major roadway safety and mobility projects we have under way.
