PUBLIC INPUT AT NEIGHBORHOOD COUNCIL MEETINGS – Comments from the public on agenda items will be heard only when the respective item is being considered. Comments from the public on other matters not appearing on the agenda that are within the Board’s jurisdiction will be heard during the General Public Comment period. Please note that under the Brown Act, the Board is prevented from acting on a matter that you bring to its attention during the General Public Comment period; however, the issue raised by a member of the public may become the subject of a future Board meeting. Public comment is limited to 1 minute per speaker, unless adjusted by the presiding officer of the Board.

1.

Motion to review and file the Treasurer’s report and MERs for months of August, September and October 2024.

2.

Review discuss and possible Motion to approve the Sponsorship request from LAX Coastal Education for the “What Do You Love About Los Angeles'” Children’s Art show taking place on December 5, 2024 at the Westchester Triangle, for an amount not to exceed $500.00.

3.

Review, discuss and possible motion to approve NPG request from World Harvest Food Bank for funds to go towards a new van for transporting food to families throughout L.A. (existing YR 2000 vehicle no longer meets DMV  (CARB) regulatory requirements), including 47 households located in Westchester (out of 75k households throughout the city), for an amount not to exceed $3,000 with total amount requested from all NCs in the city being $65,000.00.
