The Flight Path Museum at LAX offers flight training courses for youth looking to start entering the professional aviation community, with a focus on under-represented communities and genders in the aviation fields. During the pandemic, classes were halted due the public health emergency. Resuming in October of 2022, the program relaunched with a new instructor who professionally flies 747-400s for Atlas Air. The class is equipped with new state-of-the-art systems equipped with Flight Simulator software.
Students will learn the basic fundamentals of flight and practice them on the flight simulators. Certain classes will be taught by subject matter experts in other fields of aviation such as airport operations and planning. The first new class graduated in December.

The class is currently structured in 9 sessions of three hours each with a tentative launch of March 18, if applying, students must be able to commit to be present at all classes (exceptions for medical reasons). Classes may be rescheduled due to airport or museum operational issues.
