NCWP is proud to provide funding for the Schools as Parks pilot program at Open Charter Magnet. This program allows school playgrounds to function as parks after school hours, which is particularly helpful in East Westchester, a park poor neighborhood.
The playground – with green space, a jungle gym, basketball courts, a shaded seated space for parents, and more – is open Saturdays from 10am to 4pm. If successful, it may expand to Sundays as well.
