DESCRIPTION:Save the date for the Plan to House LA Virtual Public Hearing. This is your opportunity to give a public comment on the Draft 2021-2029 Housing Element. The City is also soliciting comments on the targeted update to the Safety Element\, and amendments to the Health and Wellness Element\, or Plan for a Healthy LA. \nA full revised draft of all documents will be released ahead of the hearing in September. Prior to the public hearing\, staff will give a short presentation highlighting changes to the documents that have occurred since the last draft was released in early July. \nEach hearing will have the same format. Please feel free to attend at whichever time is most convenient. Registration is not required. \nTuesday September 21\, 2021\n6 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.\nPresentation 6 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.\nPublic Comment 6:30 p.m. – 8 p.m. \nWednesday September 22\, 2021\n11 a.m. – 1 p.m.\nPresentation 11 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.\nPublic Comment 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. \nThe Public Hearing is a formal opportunity to provide public comment on the Draft Plans to a Hearing Officer. In lieu of attending the Public Hearing\, comments may be submitted by email or hardcopy through September 22\, 2021 at 5:00 pm. The Public Hearing is used to take comments on the Draft Plans; no decisions will be made at the time of Public Hearing. Participants may join the Public Hearing online or by phone at any time during the public hearing period to offer testimony. In order that all viewpoints may be presented\, speakers at the Public Hearing may be limited in the length of their testimony.
