Representing the communities of Westchester, Playa del Rey and Playa Vista

NCWP Board Meeting on Jan 9, 2018

Meeting Date:
Tuesday, January 9, 2018 - 6:30pm

Meeting Place:
Westchester Municipal Building Community Room 7166 Manchester Avenue, Westchester, CA 90045

Best wishes in 2018 to all our Westchester, Playa Del Rey and Playa Vista friends. Neighborhood Council is hosting a dinner catered by our favorite Cantalini's Playa del Rey, salads will be provided by Olive It and desserts from Westchester Bakery. Entertainment, fun and friends.

Two community service recognitions will be awarded to very deserving people who quietly take care of the business of our community. Congratulations to Julie Zaller and Edward “Ed” Lofton. Julie created the Moms FB Page, collected more than 25k for the man who chased a kidnapper and got the child back, plus numerous other projects to benefit others. Ed you probably have seen a hundred times and didn’t pay attention to his efforts. Mr Lofton is responsible for Pershing and the LAX side of Vista Del Mar. He personally walks the entire route and cleans up every piece of litter everyday. Thank you to both of these fine individuals.
